Dick Whittington

What an amazing show !

I was entranced from beginning to end. Where had three hours gone?

The combination of acting ,music, dancing, singing, stage sets and costumes produced an altogether stunning performance. This production included many of the traditions of pantomime. We had a male dame “Oh yes he was”,and a female principle boy. We saw the evil king rat always enter from the stage left “Boo “ and the good fairy always from stage right. There was plenty of opportunity for audience participation “He’s behind you “and of course an audience song, not to mention the cat,a gorilla and a very talented dancing camel.

There were a hundred people featured in the programme and it would be impossible to single anyone out.

Of course we must also thank those not named who worked in teams including bar staff ,front of house stage crew and as chaperones without this help a production of this quality would not be possible.

Thank you to the directors and producer who worked tirelessly.[Review by Susie Welch]
