Journey to the magical land of Oz in this beloved musical filled with heart, humour, and timeless songs.   When a Kansas farm girl named Dorothy is swept away by a powerful tornado, she embarks on a quest to find her way home — meeting unforgettable friends like the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion along the way. Together, they face thrilling challenges, wicked foes, and discover that true courage, love, and wisdom were inside them all along.  

With dazzling costumes, colourful sets, and iconic songs like Over the Rainbow and We’re Off to See the Wizard, The Wizard of Oz is a spectacular event for dreamers of all ages. Do not miss your chance to experience the magic live on stage.  

If you are interested in taking part whether as a principal, in the chorus or as part of the creative team you are invited to attend an initial read/ sing through on Wednesday 11 June 2025 at 7.30pm in Pirton Village Hall.

For those interested in a principal part there will be open auditions at the Hall on Sunday June 29th at 2pm and Wednesday 2nd July at 7.30pm.   We look forward to seeing you there.
