Play Reading on Wednesday 15 April.

"A Jolly Sinister Jape" was great fun to read last Wednesday. Many thanks to the 11 members who attended who helpfully took notice of the advice which is reprinted at the end of this message. As a result we avoided irritating technical issues.

This week we have decided to read another one act play by Noel Coward called "Family Album" which is another short comedy but very different in style. Anton has placed a pdf on the website. As before we will start reading at 8pm but there should be plenty of time for chat before and afterwards.

While I will be leading this one, Anton remains the technical host so please log in using zoom from 7.30pm with the link below which is the same as last week. You may need the password (01462)

Meeting ID: 234 379 844

It helps to know who's joining in and who wants to read ahead of time if possible so just drop me a line on motackley@gmail.com.

The better the quality of connection the more enjoyable the reading. With the experience we now have, Anton and I recommend:

1. You join on the largest screen you have eg a PC or laptop preferably with a wired connection to the internet. Some have managed to use phones but it is harder.

2. If you want to read, print out the play beforehand or have it on a separate screen beside you. The play can be found in the documents section of the website.

These are only suggestions. We will be pleased to have your company whatever equipment you use.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday.
