Yasmina Reza’s dazzling comedy received the Moliere Award for Best Play when it first opened in 1994. It ran for 18 months at the Comedie des Champs-Elysees, Paris, before the English translation by Christopher Hampton opened at Wyndham’s Theatre in London in October 1996. It played there for 8 years straight, and became an international hit. Numerous revivals have included actors such as Albert Finney, Tom Courtney, Ken Stott, Stephen Tompkinson, Mark Gatiss and Alfred Molina. Awards for the play include Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, Tony Award for Best Play, and Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy.
Details for our production can be found on the attached flier - we'd love to see lots of you there!
