PP Show Program for 2019 !!

At the AGM the Artistic Committee announced the following program for 2019 which has been approved by the Main Committee. The following is from Michael Tackley:

Our Spring production will be a comedy by Alan Ayckbourn called Absurd Person Singular directed by me. Provisional dates 4 to 6 April 2019. The cast is 3M and 3F. All of these are excellent character parts and it was very popular both at a play reading and at the Taster.

We have decided not to do a mid year production in 2019 but we will take the opportunity to extend the program of Club Nights with a view to extending the group’s knowledge of plays and shows.

Most votes at the Taster Evening were for a Pantomime and it will be six years since we have done one. This will be our Autumn show directed by Janet who has already found a  Musical Director, Choreographer, and a Producer.  Finding a really good script with maximum opportunities for both male and female roles, chorus etc has proved a challenge but following the AGM and after much reading of scripts and summaries Janet  has found an excellent version of Aladdin. The show dates will be 20 to 23 November 2019.
