The Artistic Committee (AC) just wanted to remind everyone about the taster evening on Friday 21st April at 7.30pm at the village hall.
For those that have never been before, the evening is for anyone to present a musical/play to the group that may be used in the 2024 programme.
The presentations should be about 10 minutes long and can include anything that you feel will sell your idea. For example a short part from the script, piece of music or even something visual. There are no rules other than presenting your idea!! Please be aware that even if your idea is not chosen for next year, it might be used in years to come so nothing is wasted. We put on Lion, Witch & the Wardrobe 10 years later.
There is no need to have a Director in mind but it’s always useful to think about if it’s possible to put on in reality. Actors, staging and production as well but let’s not overthink this too much. I mean, who would have believed that our fabulous production team could turn the village hall into a Railway station from 1908, yet they did.
The AC is made up of Trevor Clark, Sophie Carroll, Alison Gibbs, Stuart Clark and Sam Mistry.
