Notice of AGM

The Pirton Players AGM 2023 will be held at the Village Hall on Friday 23rd June 2022 starting at 8pm.


All members of the Main and Artistic Committees stand for re-election at each AGM, and anyone who is a member of Pirton Players can nominate themselves for any role.


The current Chair, Secretary, and Webmaster are standing down and we have no Youth Representative on the Main Committee. Other roles include Publicity, Membership Secretary, Vice Chair and Technical Representative and the present members have all indicated that they are prepared to stand again.


The Artistic Committee is made up of 5 people who are elected each year. All are eligible to stand again.


If you would like more information about any of the roles on either committee, please do not hesitate to contact the Secretary.


Please will anyone wishing to stand for either the Main or the Artistic Committee submit their names and the role they wish to stand for to the Secretary, Lucinda Rowe, by Friday 16th June at the latest.


Members will be notified on Monday 20h June of those wishing to stand for a committee post.


If you unable to attend the AGM, you may vote by proxy. Your proxy vote can either be given to the current Chair, Michael Tackley, the Secretary, or to any member who will be attending the meeting, and should specify the person’s name and the committee they are standing for.


The agenda for the AGM and the minutes from last year’s meeting are available on the website, or by email from the Secretary.
